Newsletter September 12, 2025
Join us for FOUNDATIONS, beginning this Wednesday, September 10. Click here to learn more and to RSVP.
Dear Cornerstone Family,
This past Wednesday, we kicked off our tenth year of Foundations here at Cornerstone!
Fellowship and discipleship for all ages have been the "foundation" of Foundations over the years as we have gathered in the middle of the week as a church family. There have been seasons of navigating things like a pandemic (with boxed meals and tailgating!), a church move, and parking lot construction. In all these times, God has been faithful to provide for us to gather again and again for this sweet time of growth in His grace.
We definitely had our highest attendance ever at a Foundations this past week. If you were unable to attend, we would love for you to join us this coming week.
You can RSVP HERE.
As we go forward this fall, we do need additional help with serving at Foundations. Particularly, we need a few more adults to sign up to serve alongside the kids who are serving.
You can sign up HERE to serve.
As a reminder, here are the classes that take place after the meal:
Nursery: Nursery area in the main building (Led by Christina Wendorf and nursery team)
Preschool and Kindergarten-5th Grade: Children's Assembly Room, upstairs in the main building (Studying the Westminster Catechism, led by Mary Cooper and other children’s ministry volunteers)
Middle and High School Students: Senior High Sunday School room (Room 215), (Studying the Parables), led by Pastor Chris Moody and the youth ministry team)
Adults:
Who is Yahweh?-The Doctrine of God- taught by Pastor John Summers
This class is for all adults and will explore the teaching of the Westminster Standards on the doctrine of God. Location: Family Life Center Gym
Gospel Shaped Marriage: Pastor Wilson Shirley and Elder Mark Hundscheid will facilitate this seminar on marriage alongside other seasoned couples. Location: Fellowship Hall in the Main Building
