Luke5Adventures is a nationwide ministry with a local chapter supported by Cornerstone. Luke5 is an incredible resource that provides hiking opportunities for people with cognitive and physical disabilities, all of whom are made in God’s image. We are proud to be the first Luke5 Chapter in the state of Alabama!

This ministry is based on the passage in Luke 5 where the friends of the paralytic brought him to Jesus.

The Huntsville Chapter of Luke5 gathers on the second Saturday of every month to hike in the Huntsville-Madison County area. In 2026, we will not meet in June, but will meet on May 9, July 11, August 8, September 12, October 10, and November 14 (weather permitting). For more details about which trails we will hike and what time we will meet to begin, please contact Jackie Edmondson.

To be either the HIKER (the individual with a disability who is riding in the “Rosie”) or the VOLUNTEER (any volunteer, doing anything for these families), please contact Jackie Edmondson.
