When are your services?
Currently we worship on Sunday mornings at 8:30am and 11:00am. Sunday School beings at 9:45am.
What can I expect?
Our worship services are 1 hour. We have a blended style of worship that is true to the Reformed faith and uses everything from traditional hymns to more modern worship songs. Each week one of our pastors preaches expositionally (verse by verse) from the Holy Scriptures.
What should I wear?
“What do people wear to worship at Cornerstone?” Believe it or not this is one of the most asked questions we get. “Do people wear suits, jeans, khakis or shorts? ” The answer is yes. First and foremost come as you are. But, just in case you’re wondering how most people around here will be dressed, it’s pretty broad. A lot of guys wear khakis or jeans and a polo or button up shirt. Ladies wear jeans, pants, skirts, and dresses. Most importantly though we look forward to seeing you, not what you’re wearing.
What about my children?
We often get asked if children come into the service with parents or is there something else going on for them? ALL Children are welcome in the worship service. There is a nursery for babies and children 3 years old and under, during both the worship service and Sunday School. Our Nursery is located on the first floor of the building.
Where do you meet?
Our church building is located in the heart of Blossomwood, and can be found at 1413 McClung Ave.
Where should I park?
Parking is available on the west and east side of the building. Handicap accessibility is on the east side of the building. The east entrace also has a drive for those needing an area to drop-off.
What do you believe?
Our Biblical, Confessional, Presbyterian, and Reformed beliefs are meant to unite, not divide, Christians under the banner of a robust, loving, humble, warm-hearted, pious, repentant, Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, God-exalting, kingdom-advancing body of believers. We believe in a warm and positive expression of the Reformed Faith, that is, one that promotes and defends sound doctrine while at the same time exhibits sincere love, joy, humility, patience, and kindness.
