Newsletter June 5, 2026
Dear Church Family and Friends,
This past week, our Children's Ministry concluded Vacation Bible School as the Scottish Sleuths led the children on the case to find the "hidden hero"! Their quest led them through the book of Esther as they learned who it was that was providentially guiding and protecting God's people during the reign of the Persian empire.
The children memorized three Bible verses that remind us of God's providential care and His work in the life of His people:
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10 ESV)
“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” (Matthew 5:11-12 ESV)
"Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose." (Isaiah 46:9-10 ESV)
Let's continue to pray for our children ... that they would bear spiritual fruit in their lives through the ministry of God's Word to them.
A special thanks to our many, many volunteers who made this week a huge blessing!
Let's also pray this week, as a team of nearly 40 folks will go to serve at the Quiet Waters family retreat. Pray that God would give them strength to serve and minister to others.
See you Sunday.
by His grace and to His praise,
Pastor Wilson
