Newsletter October 23, 2026

Dear Church Family and Friends,

I am writing to share a few exciting updates regarding our staff and facility plans.

First, please join me in giving thanks to the Lord for providing a new Communications Assistant for the Cornerstone staff, Amanda Lipscomb. Amanda and her family are relocating from the Tuscaloosa area, where she currently serves at a local church, and will join us in December. Please keep her family in your prayers during this transition to Huntsville.

Second, I want to provide an update on Phase 2 of our building renovations. Following our Phase 1 updates to the Sanctuary, Gathering Room, and downstairs restrooms, Phase 2 will focus on the remainder of the building. The primary goal is optimizing classroom space for Christian Education. Additional improvements will include updating the second-floor restrooms for ADA compliance, replacing windows throughout the building, remodeling the kitchen, and beautifying the fellowship hall.

Finally, the Session has called a congregational meeting for Sunday, November 1st, during the Sunday School hour. Cornerstone members will receive an email shortly with more detailed information.

by His grace and to His praise,
Pastor Wilson
