Dear Church Family and Friends,
In a little over a week, my family and I will have the privilege of visiting and serving at the Yakama Indian Reservation in Washington State to partner with our long-time ministry partners, Sacred Road Ministries. I have the privilege of serving on the board of Sacred Road, and I have been going out there on mission trips since 2007! Nearly 20 years.
We would appreciate your prayers ... for traveling mercies, for safety, for servant hearts. I will have the opportunity to preach at Hope Fellowship, the church plant, on March 8, so I'm looking forward to that opportunity. I covet your prayers as I share God's Word with them and hope to bring them encouragement from the Scriptures and warm greetings from their sister church and partners in the Gospel, Cornerstone.
I'm grateful for a church that loves missions. Being obedient to the Great Commission is part of the DNA of Cornerstone, and I pray it continues to be. Please be in prayer for our other upcoming summer missions opportunities to Warm Springs with Sacred Road and Family Retreat with Quiet Waters. Perhaps God is not calling you to go and participate in any of these opportunities, but as Pastor Russ always encourages us ... EVERYONE can be involved by either prayer, giving, or going. We are also looking forward to our Annual Missions Fundraiser! This year, we will raise funds for those going on summer missions through a pancake brunch on Sunday, April 19, after the second service. Make plans to be there! More information and an RSVP link will be coming soon!

Pray for healing - Tom Armstrong, Suzi Bolton, Karen Canevaro, Dawn Chenault, Betsy Morgan, Val Myers, Tim and Gayle Ricks, Libby Stanfield, Annette Sweatt, and Alan Ware.

Pray for Zeljko Basurovic and his family with the passing of his mother, Borka, this past week in Serbia.
Pray for our Missional Partnerships - Brent and Selina Miller - Missionaries to Mexico with Mexico Medical Missions and First Presbyterian Church, Russellville, AL (Rev. Gary Nantt & Rev. Jim Daughtry).
Pray for our children’s ministry for the Lord to guide and bless the parents and volunteers as they serve in this ministry, and that the Lord’s love would shine through the children of Cornerstone.
Announcements
Foundations- Continues this Wednesday, March 4. Join us for a fellowship meal at 5:30 pm, followed by discipleship classes for all ages from 6:15-7:15 PM. Nursery is provided. RSVP HERE!
New Members Class - Continues this Sunday and meets during the Sunday School hour in the FLC.
Ladies' Prayer Meeting - Join us on Thursday, March 5, at 10 am at Micki Smith’s home for a time of prayer.
Potluck Dishes - Ladies, come to the kitchen in the main building and see if you have a long-lost dish waiting for you. Please rescue them soon, as unclaimed dishes will be donated on March 6.
Luke5 Hike - Join the team on Saturday, March 14. Contact Paul Dupre or Jackie Edmondson for more information.
Holy Week - Palm Sunday Services, Sunday, March 29, at 8:30 and 11:00 am. Good Friday Communion Service, Friday, April 3, at 6:00 pm. Easter Sunday Services on Sunday, April 5, at 8:30 and 11:00 am, with an Easter Brunch fellowship in the FLC at 9:45 am. RSVP for Easter services coming soon!

Mission Trip Registration - Contact Morgan High or Jackie Edmondson to register for Quiet Waters Family Retreat (June 7-12) to serve families affected by disabilities. Contact the church office to register for Warm Springs (May 30-June 6) to serve with Sacred Road.
