Newsletter February 20, 2026

Dear Church Family and Friends,

One of the most evident ways the Lord has poured out His tremendous favor upon our church is through the dedicated staff team He has assembled. I am deeply grateful for every member of our staff who wholeheartedly embraces their calling to equip the saints for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12). Their commitment, service, and love for Christ and His church continue to bless us all.

Earlier this year, our very first Church Administrator, Rick Dillon, shared with me his desire to retire in 2026. Rick and his wife Wendy are excited about the next season, anticipating more precious time with their children and grandchildren, along with plenty of camping adventures.

Rick has faithfully served as a true "bell cow" on our staff for over five years—leading with integrity, wisdom, and a servant's heart. Please join me in praising God for Rick's many labors at Cornerstone and for the lasting impact he has made on Christ's church here.

Of course, Rick's upcoming departure will leave a significant gap in our leadership. Yet, as always, God is faithful. In His kind providence and perfect timing, Craig Martin will step into the role of Church Administrator.

Craig and his wife, Janice, have been prayerfully seeking the Lord's direction for a career transition for many months. Now, in the Lord's good timing, that transition is here. Please join me in warmly welcoming Craig to our church staff!

Craig is no stranger to Cornerstone's administrative needs. As a long-time member, deacon, and active participant on the Finance & Property Committee, he brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and institutional understanding to this position.

To ensure a seamless handover, Craig and Rick will begin cross-training in March, working closely together to prepare for the future.

We are truly grateful to God for His abundant provision for His church and for the way He is working in the lives of both Rick and Craig. What a beautiful picture of God's faithfulness—honoring faithful service while raising up the next generation of leaders.

Please keep our entire staff, the Dillon family, and the Martin family in your prayers during this season of transition. Pray for wisdom, peace, continued joy in serving the Lord, and a smooth handoff that glorifies God and strengthens our church.

by His grace and to His praise,

Pastor Wilson
