Newsletter March 13, 2026

Dear Cornerstone Family:

Holy Week is fast approaching, and we are looking forward to Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter Services!

Palm Sunday Services, March 29, at 8:30 and 11:00 am (kids sing prelude at the 11:00 service)
Good Friday Communion Service, April 3, at 6:00 pm
Easter Sunday Services on Sunday, April 5, at 8:30 and 11:00 am (RSVP coming soon!)
Easter Brunch Fellowship in the FLC at 9:45 am

This year, our focus will be on the following Scripture text from 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, and the sermon series will be entitled "Things of First Importance."

"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures."

Reading that passage prompts a question for us to consider:

What are the "things of first importance" right now in our lives?

As we consider this question and prepare for these services over the next couple of weeks, I encourage you to read the Gospel accounts of the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Christ (Matthew 26-28; Mark 14-16:8; Luke 22-24; John 12-21) and follow that with a full reading of 1 Corinthians 15 as we anticipate the celebration of Easter.

See you Sunday!

Pastor Brian
