Newsletter April 24, 2026

Dear Church Family and Friends,

One of the things that we are constantly trying to achieve as a growing church in a growing city is community. This word comes from communion, which means to be in fellowship and friendship with one another. Having a deep, authentic community is difficult. So how do we do it as a church?

Specifically, Sunday mornings are designed to help us grow in community with one another through corporate worship and Sunday School. We do this by communing with one another in Bible study, prayer, and worship. But with two worship services and many different Sunday Schools, it can be difficult to meet new people, interact with them, and foster deeper community. So how can we begin to change that?

This Sunday, there will be a combined Sunday School with all adults and students. Pastor Summers will give an overview of the Biblical Theology found in the Old Testament books of Ezra and Nehemiah. This will be a wonderful opportunity for our young people and mature saints to interact with one another and have some great Bible teaching on the next study for all our Sunday Schools.

Another way that we want to do this is by providing a new church directory. Starting next week, our office staff will begin producing a printed church directory with pictures! But we need your help! If you have not already done so, please email the church office a picture of you and/or you and your family by the end of the day on Monday, April 27th. One directory per member family unit will be made available. This directory will be printed from our Church Community Builder platform, which is already available digitally to all church members.

Thank you for your help with this!

And all who believed were together and had all things in common.  (Acts 2:44 ESV)

by His grace and to His praise,

Pastor Wilson
