Newsletter June 6, 2025
Dear Church Family and Friends,
It has been a GREAT week of VBS here at Cornerstone. Our children have been learning throughout the week how Jesus is exalted and honored above all and how He willingly gave up His position and privilege to rescue us from sin and death to restore us to unbroken fellowship with Himself. Please be in prayer for the children and families that have been a part of this fantastic week. I want to especially thank all our volunteers! You guys have been wonderful!
This Sunday at the beginning of the first service, we will have a special time of commissioning our summer mission teams as they go off to serve in the next few weeks. We are incredibly blessed as a church to have missional partnerships that we can come alongside and serve.
Pray for the team attending the Quiet Waters Family Retreat. This team will serve as support staff in a camp-style environment to serve families affected by disability. Pray for the hearts and minds and a humble spirit as they minister next week.
Pray for those going to serve with Luke5 at the Family Retreat. Pray for safety and great conversations with campers and their families as they enjoy a hike.
Pray for the team going out West to Warm Springs, Oregon, to serve with Sacred Road Ministries on the Warm Springs Reservation. Pray for their safety while traveling and for warm hearts to receive the Gospel through Word and deed.
This Sunday, we will also observe communion and have a baptism! It is going to be a great Lord's Day! See you Sunday!
by His grace and to His praise,
Pastor Wilson
