Dear Church Family and Friends,

On June 23-27, the 52nd General Assembly of the PCA will be held in Chattanooga, TN. This is one of the rare occasions when General Assembly is hosted close to home. I want to invite you to visit General Assembly if you would like to make a short trip up to Chattanooga. If you have never attended a General Assembly worship service, then you are in for a treat! It is always so encouraging to worship with thousands of other brothers and sisters in Christ and to experience how large the body of Christ is! Just remember, it's in the Eastern Time Zone, so plan for an hour ahead on your way. 

Please be in prayer for the Assembly. Here are some ways you can pray.

  • Please be in prayer for me, Chris Moody, John Bise, Mark Hundsheid, and Frank Cohee as we will be serving as commissioners from Cornerstone to the Assembly.

  • Please be in prayer for Ruling Elders John Bise and Frank Cohee as they have significant leadership roles at the denominational level.

  • Please pray for a spirit of wisdom and unity at the Assembly.

  • Pray that God would keep the PCA Faithful to the Scriptures, True to the Reformed Faith, and Obedient to the Great Commission.

Praise God for the birth of Hudson Nunley, born to Ben and Rebecca Nunley on Sunday, June 8. Hudson is welcomed by big brothers, Jackson, Harrison, and Carter; big sister, Collier; grandparents, David and Gail Kimrey; aunt, Rachel Morrow; and uncle, Andrew Kimrey.

Pray for our Missional Partnerships - Friends Serving in Western Europe and North Hills Presbyterian Church, Meridianville, AL (Rev. Adam Tisdale).

Pray for Warm Springs Mission Team (June 14-21).

Pray for PCA General Assembly in Chattanooga, TN, June 23-27.

Pray for our men’s ministry - Pray for the men of this ministry that the Lord would grant them strength, wisdom, and unity. May they grow in faith and be a light in their community.
